Happy New Year dear friends!!!!! I am glad that 2011 is now in the past, it was a rough year around here. I took a long break from blogging because nobody needed to hear what was running though my head! Grief is a beast! In addition to Grandma passing in October, we lost Dad's step-mom in the beginning of December. Mom had to make an emergency trip to Oregon to handle all of the legal stuff, they will be going out in the next month or so for the service (she doesn't have any other family - even I never met her). Christmas was nice, my sister and brother-in-law came up, but it was a hard time. This is a normal that we knew was coming, but not really prepared for.
Here is looking forward to a new year! No problems don't automatically go away, but it is nice to have a new start and something to look forward to.
