Memorial Day

Today we think about all of the men and women who have served and is currently serving in our Armed Forces. Below is a picture of my grandfather and his brick in the National World War II Museum. He served in the Navy in the Pacific.

My cousin is currently serving in the Air Force, right now in Pensacola, and has served two tours over the in the middle east. His wife is in a nurse in the Navy Reserved.
Needless to say this day is important to my family.

Also please remember Michael, Ness' son, as he is currently serving in the Army. Ness and her family could really use our prayers right now. Michael is off serving our country, and Roger and KJ are both in the hospital (different hospitals at that).

Today though, my heart is heavy for the Twomey family. Their son CJ is veteran and has proudly served our country. Today as we remember those that have given their all, they are in my thoughts knowing that they are facing another "family" day without their beloved hero.
