I'm starting to feel old

This is going to be short, but maybe not so sweet. I'm starting to feel old, although most of you will laugh. This past weekend was my 15th high school reunion. It doesn't really seem that long ago that I was in high school, playing in the band. Now it has been 15 years, I'm working on a 2nd career, and quickly (as in next month) approaching my mid-30s. It is really scary to think that I'm old enough to be the mother of most of the kids I teach now. Like I said, I'm starting to feel old.

Oh Steph! I know exactly what you're talking about...and I hate to tell you this, but it just keeps getting worse. Time seems to fly by SO fast. My Mom and I had a conversation about this very thing after I had just turned 40 and she was approaching 60. She said that with each century, time seems to go faster and faster. At almost 60, she said it had just seemed like a years or two that she was turning 50. I have found that to be true. It sure doesn't seem to me like that conversation took place 12 years ago! And next year, if there is such a thing, will be my THIRTY-FIVE year class reunion. Go class of '74! BWAHAHAHA!

Feeling old too.

My kids remind me of that too.
