Well today is my 35th birthday. YIKES!!!! If you asked me 10 years ago what my life would like, it wouldn't have been anything close to what my life looks like now. When I decided not to go into education and went into corporate America, I said that I would NEVER teach again. I had an awful experience and decided that just wasn't for me. Sometimes I still find it hard to believe that I'm back in school getting a degree in Math Education to teach middle school and that I absolutely love it!!! The first time around, I wanted to teach business (still wouldn't mind that) in a high school, I HATED the middle school environment and wouldn't touch math with a 10 ft poll. Just goes to prove, we say never and God just laughs.
For my birthday I am doing what I like to do best. I'm spending the day helping a dear friend in her classroom!!! Most people think I'm nuts for volunteering at a middle school for my birthday, but I LOVE IT!! I love working with her students and I just simply love her!!!
