Grandma had surgery today

Well they were finally able to do surgery and yank out Grandma's gallbladder today. She had surgery this morning, and everything went very well. Grandma is awful about taking pain pills, she will not do it, so they have her sedated right now to help control the pain from the surgery. Mom woke her up to try to eat (she has been NPO since Tuesday) some broth and jello and she wouldn't do it because she didn't like the broth and will not eat yellow jello. Oh well, she is 86 (almost 87) so we won't change her mind. I'm not sure when she will get out of the hospital, I'm not sure if anyone knows at this point. I do know that she is very, very weak right now.

That is all for now. I will try to post something else, other than a medical update soon.

Glad she was able to have the surgery and keeping her in my prayers for a full recovery. Hey, you write medical updates or whatever...it's your blog and that's how life rolls. Lord, I would never write a single word if I kept out all the medical updates in our family! Love ya.
