Tomorrow we celebrate Veteran's Day. My grandfather was part of the D-Day attack in WWII as part of the Navy. About two years ago when I was in New Orleans to help my grandparents celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary I had the honor to attend the The National WWII Museum with him. The pictures below are from that day, one is him standing on/by his brick that was placed in the museum in his honor and the 2nd one is of his brick.
Please take time to remember all those who have served or are currently serving in our Armed Forces to protect those things that we hold so dear. We just finished a National election and no matter how you feel about the results men and women of this great country freely laid down their life so that we could have the right to choose who we wanted to lead us. Please remember CJ, Hallie's son, as he is transitioning from serving in the Air Force to whatever great thing he will do next; and Michael, Ness' son, as he is in training at Ft. Still with the Army.
Remember that "Freedom isn't Free"! Happy Veteran's Day!
