but today is my birthday. I'm now 34! YIKES!!!! Time seems to be flying by, it doesn't seem that long ago that I couldn't believe that I was turning 20 and my kind (HA) little sister was calling me old.
Unfortunately I can't come up with a great birthday post. However off of Peach's site I did find out that on November 12, 1974 the top song was "Whatever Gets You Thru the Night" by John Lennon.
Not much planned for the day. I'm working at one of the high schools teaching Business Education, which I love and what my degree is in, and then Mom is going to cook my favorite dinner. For me that is T-bone steaks, Mom's stuffed potatoes, broccoli, and California Sheet cake. Other than that my plan is to just relax and enjoy spending the evening with my family. It has been about 10 years since I have celebrated my birthday on my birthday with my entire family, and 3 years since I celebrated it with Mom at least (she came up for my birthday when I turned 30.)

Hmmm...as I recall 34 was a very good years. In fact, they're ALL very good years. Especially when one gets to celebrate the start of a new one with t-bones and broccoli--NUM!!! Wish I was there to celebrate with you :).
And, for this very special day, my gift to you is that I will NOT sing to you! Hope it's the happiest birthday ever...
