1. Do you have the same friends since childhood?
I only have one friend who have have had since my early teenage years. Connie and I have known each other since I was in the 7th grade (she was in the 8th) and we had lunch, chorus, and PE together. We also had this weird habit (and still do) of hurting ourselves at the same time. Our gym teacher use to think we were making it up, but even she couldn't argue with two doctor's notes from different doctors.
2. What do you value most about your friends?
Honesty & loyalty. I think that describes it. What I value most in a friend is someone who I can be real with, who cares enough to go through the hard times with you, but at the same time also cares too much to not tell you the truth even if it isn't something you really want to hear at the time. I have been blessed to have friends like this in my life.
3. Are your friends your sounding boards?
Without a doubt my friends are my sounding boards. However before I will get to that point with someone I really have to know them well. I'm one of those people who tend to bottle things up, so it takes a lot for me to open up to someone. That is one thing that I cherish about my blog friends, I know that I can be open with them and they don't judge me. If you don't like what I say, then this isn't the place for you visit.
4. What is your favorite activity to share with your friends?
I'm just starting to make friends in GA at church, so right now it is Sunday School type activites. However with my friends in Tampa (most of whom I have know for 10 years), it was getting together on New Year's Eve, Sunday afternoon to watch football games (we did this every week), eat lunch together after church (we did this every week after football season) and just hanging out. I'm very easy to please, I just like spending time with my friends. It doesn't matter what we do.
And now according to the rules of this award, I have to list 5 things under the following headers, and pass this award on to 5 more people. Here we go!
