*****Update as of 9:30***** Dad should get out of the hospital tomorrow. Once he is released and after Mom's follow up from her surgery this past Wednesday they will be heading down to Ft. Myers, FL. I'm not sure how long they will be gone. Dad has an appointment with Dr. Yudleman (see below) Friday afternoon.******
Well I just got off the phone with Mom. Dad isn't going to be able to come home today. This week at some point they are going to be going to Florida to see Dad's specialist down there. Dr. Yudleaman has been the family go to guy for about the past twenty years whenever we had issues that nobody else go figure out. My sister and I use to make trips down from Tampa to Ft. Myers to see him and Mom said when they moved up here she would go back to down to see him just because he is that good. So it is comforting knowing that Dad is going to see him.
That is all for now!! Just trying to get though one day at a time.

Talked to Ness for quite awhile last night. KJ's surgery is scheduled for today - she will have a shunt put in through her back. The ventricles in her brain are so swollen that the doc said he couldn't put the shunt in that way. Planned stay of a few days in the hospital (some time in ICU) but Ness doesn't know how the insurance piece will play out. Ness sounded exhausted but was with KJ. KJ is apparently on a constant Morphine drip for pain.
