I'm back

Hi Everyone,

I'm back!! I just needed to take a break for a little while to get my head screwed on my shoulders straight again. I was fighting a really ugly case of the blues. I have now been out of work for 9 months and it just really got me down. I had a wonderful week at church doing VBS and when that was over the funk set in. VBS reminded me how much I really miss working and having a reason to keep up early every morning and have some place to go. Ok enough of that!! :-)

This Sunday my church is going to have Travis Cottrell perform. The choir will be singing with him during the morning worship service and then that evening he will be doing a live concert. I have been looking forward to this week for about a month now. It should be a really great morning and evening. Below is one of my many favorite of Travis' songs.



Independence Day is next Friday. In the midst of the fireworks and BBQs, don't forget to remember our men and women who are in the armed forces.
